INTELLINEX  /  Electric trucks

Which of your work already goes electric.

Your own jobs, on your own routes, day work or tramping. Every truck gets home.

The question

Going electric is a planning question you can answer today.

From the outside, going electric looks like a gamble. Range, charging, payload, a dearer vehicle, and a fleet that still has to run on time tomorrow. Most operators are asked to decide all of it at once, on someone else’s numbers.

There’s a simpler question you can answer today. Of the work you already do, which jobs could an electric truck have covered on time, and still finished the shift safely, legally and ready for the next day?

If a job can’t finish with charge to spare, it stays diesel for now.

Next step

Talk to us about the work, and the structure it would need.

We go through the jobs, the shifts and the depots, and the vehicles and charging that would have to sit behind them. It is a short conversation about your own fleet rather than a general case.

The timing

The dates are already set.

From 2035, new HGVs of 26 tonnes and under must be zero emission. From 2040, all new HGVs must be. A truck you order today will still be working in the mid-2030s. HVO helps now, but it doesn’t meet the 2040 rule.

Confirmed against the Department for Transport’s published response, and against the consultation now running on the regulatory framework beneath it, which proposes to hold both dates. Read 30 October 2026.

What it answers

What the work tells you about the truck.

Vehicle, payload, charging and carbon, all answered against your own work rather than a brochure. The vehicle is a real one you could order.

Your work decides what charging you need.

What it is worth

More out of the vehicles you already have.

A day planned as it actually falls, rather than to a fixed pattern, is what lifts the use of a fleet, electric or diesel. The charging an electric fleet needs is part of that picture, and it’s a conversation we’re glad to have with you early rather than late.

Where it sits

The same set of jobs, read on a battery.

It’s the same operation you run now, just on a battery, with the carbon figure your customers will ask for.

Book a demo

Ask it of a week you have already run.

Send the movements. You get back which of that work goes electric today, and what would have to change for the rest.
